What is it that someone from Chicago should be looking for him to say? What is replicable about the work of New York Schools in the Harlem Children’s Zone? Does he have thoughts on how public education should be integrated into the fabric of “Promise Communities”? Will he talk about how “schools” can become 24×7 centers for computer/Internet training and lifelong learning? What are his thoughts on the jobs and long term benefits - and positive externalities - of stimulus investments in public schools? Does he have thoughts for how Arne Duncan should be approaching his role in DOE in the Obama administration? Will be watching Face the Nation with interest.

Don, thanks for your post, and I share many of your questions — and would welcome the answers, as my understanding was that Klein went on Face the Nation to talk about Caroline Kennedy’s Senate bid…anyone among the commenters see the broadcast?
