Reminds me of my 4 year old. When she has a headache she says her, "Eyebrows are angry at her." Hope he feels better soon.

Marni,
When you talk about grappling with a universal parenting issue, I get the same feeling inside; I love when Jack does something 'normally' normal and not just because he has attention issues or cannot deal with waiting, even for one second! So, I too, appreciate those times when he is just like everyone else. Ah, what beautiful words. Keep up your writing; I read every week, whether I post or not.

Marni -

First of all, I love reading your blogs and look forward to reading your insightful and thought-provoking commentaries each week. Second, I want to add this one really struck a chord as E&J have been home with cold & flu-like symptoms all week. I am very familiar with the desensitization of pain and in our household the questioning surrounding what makes my little guys "throw out." Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
