Schools for Tomorrow conference
The New York Times is hosting its first annual Schools for Tomorrow conference on Thursday, Sept. 22. The conference is meant to encourage conversation about how technology could and should be used in the classroom. Prominent speakers in education and technology: Lawrence H. Summers, President Emeritus of Harvard University. A free live stream of the event will be available to the public.
“This conference will be highly interactive and will drive conversations about the best environment for student learning in this digital age,” said Gerald Marzorati, editor at large, The New York Times. “We’re calling together thought leaders in education and technology to assess the classrooms of today and consider how the students of tomorrow should be learning.”
The opening session will begin at 8:30 a.m. E.D.T.
