Our Insights

Ebbets Field Middle School is a tiny school that serves many children of immigrants from the Caribbean, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Some children have had limited education in their home country, according to the Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP).

Staff members speak Arabic, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and French to communicate with parents, according to the CEP.

Ebbets Field Middle School is named after the field where Jackie Robinson, the first African-American on a major league baseball team, played for the Brooklyn Dodgers. It shares a building with PS 375, also called the Jackie Robinson School, and the upper grades of Exceed Charter School.

Admissions: Zoned neighborhood school also open to District 19 students.
