Insideschools had an Ask Judy column in June about this exact problem. You can view the column here:
http://insideschools.org/home/judy_archive.php#060606. No one has results of the state tests yet -- they won't be available until August (for ELA tests) or September (for math tests).
The delay stems from the transition to state testing in every grade, where students in some grades used to take only city tests. The Department of Education says this problem should be resolved by next year, and students will get their results earlier. Still, as you point out, the delay is causing a lot of anguish for parents.
What do you think about the delay? How else is it affecting families and teachers?
