I just visited PS220Q. It is a fabulous school. The parent coordinator gave me and two other parents a tour of much of the school, including 7 classrooms. Honestly, the only thing I can find to consider negative about this school, is the fact that the LIE is part of the view outside and getting my child there will be a nightmare as the bus stops which service the school are all further away from our home than the school itself. The grade of C is related to mandatory tests which children who do not speak English MUST take. This drags the total test scores down and is the reason for the C grade.
