High school for dyslexic ADHD type kid? 1 year, 4 months ago #9451

Anybody know of high schools that do a particularly good job with dyslexia/ ADHD in D2?. ElRo was recommended but there's no way we'd have the marks. Basically we need structure, small class sizes and a sort of resource room that could help the child get his stuff together. SO, probably, ICT/CTT. I'm thinking SoF, Lab and maybe Frank McCourt. Anybody know about these? ANybody know of others? Anybody know any that are awful? Appreciate any helllllppp.

Lab is really good with dyslexia and ADD. I think SoF is good as well.

I've heard that Millennium has a good program.

Lab was our first choice, but I'm not sure he'll get in since he doesn't test well. I heard that SoF has a lot of longer projects and kids who don't plan well can have problems there. I hadn't really looked into Millennium. Will do so. Thanks. All info really helps.

I don't know, but I'm forwarding your question to my coordinator Paul (who runs the Manahttan Adult ADD Support Group). There is a local CHADD (Children of Adults with ADD)...Chapter in NYC. Have you E mailed them to ask? Its run by a Hal Meyer.....
