When students graduate from Bronx Early College Academy for Teaching and Learning (BECA) they don't just get a high school diploma; they walk away with up to 60 college credits. In preparation for rigorous college work that begins in the 9th grade, students have a longer school day, heavy homework loads, and attend school on Saturdays.
