According to the Department of Education, the Urban Scholars Community School will open with grades PK-2 in September 2009 at CS 198, which will begin to phase out in June. Urban Scholars will grow to serve grades PK-5, ultimately replacing CS 198.

Admissions: The Urban Scholars Community School will take over the CS 198 school zone. Students currently enrolled in grades K-1 at CS 198 are guaranteed a seat. . .
