The Waterside Children's Studio School, an elementary school, and the Waterside School for Leadership, a middle school, will open in September 2009 to replace PS 225, which the Department of Education announced will close by 2011. The School for Leadership will initially serve grade six, growing through the 8th grade as PS 225 phases out.
