CS 64 in Highbridge has a troubled history of low performance, inconsistent instruction, and teachers who struggle to maintain control of their classes. In 2001, New York State placed it on the roster of failing schools -- the SURR (School Under Registration Review) list -- because of its chronically poor scores on standardized tests.
