APRIL 2007 UPDATE: The school has a Spanish/English dual language program, which prepares students to be fluent in both languages. Students enter the program in kindergarten and are taught in Spanish and English on alternating days. For the 2006-2007 school year, the program is offered in grades K through 2. Many things have changed since 2005 when the new Principal was hired. The dual language program which was working so well was cancelled. Large amounts of teachers have left or been forced to... read more |
