A beloved drama teacher, a creative and demanding science research program, and a superb music department are three things that make Mark Twain Intermediate School for the Gifted and Talented one of the most sought-after in the city. Even though the school is located in a desolate corner of Brooklyn, it draws kids from all over Brooklyn and even parts of Queens and Staten Island. It's a beautifully equipped, first-rate school that provides a firm foundation for entrance to the city's most selective high schools.
