Thomas Jefferson High School closed in 2007 after years of poor performance. The schools now occupying the building are the High School for Civil Rights, FDNY High School for Fire and Life Safety, the Performing Arts and Technology High School, and the WATCH (World Academy for Total Community Health) School.
