George Westinghouse High School in downtown Brooklyn has a warm, accessible faculty and challenging Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes that lead to jobs in optometry, computer maintenance, or Web design. It has two gleaming state-of-the-art science labs and up-to-date computers. Attendance is up and the graduation rate has nearly doubled, to 72%, since 2003.
