After a two-year journey through three sites, El Puente Academy for Peace and Justicefound a permanent home in a tidy, renovated former Catholic school building on a quiet block in Williamsburg. Founded in 1993 by organizers from the El Puente organization, the school retains its activist mission and many of the teachers who started the school are still there. |
