Long Island City High School (LIC) is housed in an impressive, six-story brick and stainless steel building near the East River waterfront designed by the architects of Stuyvesant High School. Built in 1995, the building has a dance studio, a swimming pool, a weight room, two gymnasiums, a full-service health clinic, and an auditorium with a state-of-the-art sound system. The school's top-floor cafeteria features large windows with a tremendous view of the Upper Manhattan skyline. |
