Opened in September 2003, Manhattan Bridges is a small, new high school catering only to immigrants recently arrived from Spanish speaking countries. It is located inside the Park West High School building, and shares space with that school as well as several other small schools. Manhattan Bridges runs on a separate bell schedule, and students start the day at 9:30 a.m., dressed in business casual wear.

The school has hired bilingual teachers for students. . .
