Walking through the vibrant new middle school MS 331 on the 4th floor of PS 306, it's easy to share the enthusiasm of Principal John Barnes. There is a brightly painted and illustrated double door, and a couch and seating area are just inside the entrance. The corridor is filled with student work, posters for clubs and photos of recent expeditions and trips. It's all part of Barnes' stated goal to "make school fun for the middle-schooler."
