The Urban Assembly School of Business for Young Women provides a college-preparatory education and supplements its academic curriculum with a strong network of quality partnerships in the business world. Opened in 2005, this single sex school attracts female students from all five boroughs, many of whom come from private and parochial middle schools. The school places a strong emphasis on the core academic subjectsmath, English, science and social studieswhich students take daily for four years.
