Brooklyn Generation School is the national pilot school for a model developed by the Generation Schools Network whose motto is, “Fundamentally re-thinking how an urban public school organizes its people, time and space.” This re-thinking means that twice a year, students at Brooklyn Generation in Canarsie have a month-long break from their class schedule and classroom teachers to take courses based on their interests and focused on preparing for college and careers. |
