CIS 117 is a big, mixed bag of a school. It's having a hard time figuring out how to help a significant number of its students to read and compute on grade level. In fact, the school has been so weak in reading and writing instruction that New York State is forcing it to restructure its program. And recently, it failed to meet its state targets for math, as well. We saw a number of strong teachers who commanded respect and interest from their students. But we also saw and heard a few loud disruptions inside the classrooms, and the. . .

i am in the "WEPA" academy now for yall who dont know its the honor classes...its a great program with great teachers.i just feel one bad thing its the science teacher is teachin us badly .im... read more
