OCTOBER 2007 UPDATE: A bilingual magnet school drawing students from across District 12, CS 211 has a large playground and many partnerships with arts organizations. On our most recent visit, in October 2007, we learned that 5th and 8th graders take part in ballroom dancing, and some were featured in the film Mad Hot Ballroom. Third graders take ballet classes for nine weeks. Students also visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and take overnight trips upstate and to New Jersey.
