Located among the tidy brick houses of Brooklyn's residential Bath Beach neighborhood, PS 101 Verrazano School is a popular neighborhood school that focuses on introducing innovative uses of technology to its changing school population. Formerly an Italian enclave, Bath Beach is now home to many immigrants from Asia, Russia, Latin America, and the Middle East. The building of new multifamily dwellings in the area has led to severe overcrowding at the school.
