Beginning with Children Charter School has a family feel to it. Parents are encouraged to help out in the classrooms, and there is a warm relationship between children and staff. "The teaching staff is absolutely wonderful," said one mother. The school has bright and spacious classrooms, skylights that light the hallways, and a beautiful, well-equipped library with padded armchairs, wall-to-wall carpet, and a computer research center. The school has considerable private financial support from the Beginning with Children Foundation, a nonprofit organization set up to raise extra funds for the school.
