Once a massive, overcrowded neighborhood high school, Columbus has downsized in recent years with the opening of several small schools in its building. It's located in an unusual section of the Bronx, where middle class high rise apartment buildings, public housing and expensive, stately homes all co-exist within blocks of each other.  |
