Parent Action Conference 2018: An Action Agenda For Public Schools

Spend the day with fellow parent activists and participate in workshops to create an action agenda. Workshop topics include: parent organizing; advocating for your special needs child; school integration; opting out of testing; school bullying prevention; and promoting restorative justice.

There will be an afternoon screening of "Backpack Full of Cash," a documentary on school privatization narrated by Matt Damon, followed by a panel discussion with special guest Betty Rosa, the NY Board of Regents Chancellor.

Lunch will be provided.
