I am against single-sex schools because I feel it is a form of segregation. Boys and Girls, men and women, no matter what sexual orientation need to always be comfortable and figure out how to be together no matter how different. And teachers need to be able to figure out how to deal with all children and how they relate to each other. All the trial and tribulations that go along with being male and female together, have diverse cultural and ethnicities together is best dealt with by not separating them or segregating them but bringing them together and dealing with them on an every day every hour basis. School IS the place for this, this is our society and it is where we learn to cope and become mature educated citizens of this country.
