Liz,
I couldn't agree more -- it is tough being a middle school teacher and these teachers in NYC have huge class sizes. I have been awed by their determination and dedication.

My daughter is in 7th grade at Salk School of Science and she loves middle school. She does not want the school year to end. I recall this being a painful time for me, so I am so grateful that she is in such a nurturing environment.
