We have not yet filled the position. In the new structure, Maria Santos, head of ELL instruction; Bonnie Brown, Superintendent of District 75; and the person who replaces Linda Wernikoff will all report up to Laura Rodriguez. Laura's deputy, Dov Rokeach, will assist in her overseeing her entire portfolio of responsibilities. Dov will not be running Special Education. He WILL be adding a lot of experience in Special Ed to the new cabinet position that Laura will occupy. To clarify, we WILL be filling Linda Wernikoff’s position. We have not yet filled the position. Your article leads me to believe differently as you indicate that, "Rodriguez and Rokeach will review feedback on Harries’ report, and then decide which recommendations to put into action."
