		<description>Yes, like suburban and private high schools, this is an age when most courses should be 15-18 student seminars, with occasional lectures for larger groups.  In addition each high school student should be assigned to an advisor and advisory group for guidance and support, family/school interactions, and peer support meeting daily for a total of at lest 3-4 hours per week.  

The most important thing kids need is a strong connection with one or more adults who know them and their families well.
