Your independent guide to NYC public schools

Thousands of people braved the cold rain today to rally against the budget cuts outside City Hall. Tomorrow we'll all have pneumonia but today we can relish the thought of parents, students, teachers, and principals united to call for sustained support for the city's schools and their children.
