InsideSchools Review

Our review:

PS 215 will be closed as of June 2015, after graduating its final class of 5th graders. It posted extremely low test scores for several years before the Department of Education decided in 2011 to phase it out and replace it with a new school, Wave Preparatory Elementary School

In 2013 teachers reported significant problems with bullying and with maintaining order and discipline at the school; only 30 percent said they would recommend the school to parents, according to the school survey. (August 2014)
