Harlem Elementary School Fair

Lutheran Social Services Early Life Early Childhood Program in collabortion with the Community Education Council and DOE District 5 Office is presenting the first ever Harlem Elementary School Fair. InsideSchools will be giving a workshop on how to choose a school.

Please Come Out and meet the public schools of Central Harlem. There will be Charter Schools, DOE public schools and some private schools there. Parents please come out and get information and meet Prinicpals, School Leaders, Teachers, Parents and Students, who will be there to answer any questions you may have about their programs and school instruction.
We will have free give aways for parents and funstations( face painting, arts & crafts, games, etc.) for your preschooler to enjoy!

There will be several workshops for parents, on how to choose a school and what you should be looking for when choosing a school. The DOE office of early childhood education will also be there to speak with parents about the application process as well as the Turning 5 process for students with special needs.
