Housed in the same building as the citys Human Resources Administration, Addie Mae Collins 3 offers year-round child care as well as Head Start classes to low-income children in East Harlem. Director Diane Spann says the center offers both in-class and out-of-class learning with lots of class trips to farms and zoos, music lessons and early reading and computer literacy.
