The Downside
Little information available
PS 370 is a safe and orderly school where students overwhelmingly agree that students treat one another with respect and that bullying does not happen frequently, surveys report.
The school, which serves around 230 1st-12th graders, is located in five sites across Brooklyn. The student body consists of learners with autism, intellectual disabilities, or emotional disturbances. The attendance rate for the 2015-2016 school year was 88.4 percent, according to the Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP).
According to the CEP, there are different work study options including one in the medical industry and one in the retail industry. Specifically, The Veterans Administration Hospital provides students with vocational training in the medical field from clerical work to janitorial services to patient transport and Goodwill Department Store offers our students with autism vocational training.
