373K, The Brooklyn Transition Center ,serves more than 380 students ages 13 to 21 with autism, learning disabilities, and mild to moderate developmental disabilities.

There are two full-time high school inclusion sites, one at Cobble Hill School of American Studies and the other the Bedford-Stuyvesant Preparatory High School. There are two college level inclusion sites as well, one at Brooklyn College and the other at Medgar Evers College, according to the schools website.

Students 19 to 21 years of age attend worksites at colleges, hospitals, libraries, nursing homes, and the Flatbush YMCA, according to the schools website.

According to school surveys, teachers trust the leadership and parents agree that the school offers engaging courses and activities.

ADMISSIONS: Citywide. PS373 is part of District 75, a network of 69 schools dedicated to New York Citys students with disabilities who require increased attention. District 75 provides educational, vocational, and behavioral support programs for students who are on the autism spectrum, have significant cognitive delays, are significantly emotionally challenged, have a sensory impairment or have multiple disabilities.
