PS K369 is an orderly school where teachers agree that the principal is trustworthy and an effective leader, surveys report. The quality of teaching is good according to the 2015 Quality Review.

The school, located in 12 sites across Brooklyn, serves over 600 K-12th graders with a range of social, emotional and cognitive challenges including Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual/cognitive disabilities, and emotional disturbances.

When these students reach high school, they are offered the opportunity to participate in job site training programs alongside their academic courses, according to the Comprehensive Education Plan. The attendance rate for the 2015-2016 school year was 86.2 percent, according to the CEP.

ADMISSIONS: Citywide. PS K369 is part of District 75, a network of 69 schools dedicated to New York Citys students with disabilities who require increased attention. District 75 provides educational, vocational, and behavioral support programs for students who are on the autism spectrum, have significant cognitive delays, are significantly emotionally challenged, have a sensory impairment or have multiple disabilities.
