KIPP All Middle School

A message from the KIPP All Faculty and Staff:

KIPP All is a charter middle school located in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the South Bronx. It is located in a newly built facility that it shares with three other KIPP schools. The founding principal, Kate Baughman, has spent 15 years at KIPP and has 10 years of instructional leadership experience.

At KIPP All Middle School, we believe it is our responsibility to ensure that every single student who walks through our door has the opportunity to experience success as their authentic self. We’re committed to using innovative practices to support all learners, while maintaining high academic expectations. We recognize the challenge of building a school that intentionally encourages students to take risks, learn from their mistakes, and grow from them. Nevertheless, we face the reality of that challenge with determination and optimism.

Our students receive 90 minutes of English language arts and math instruction each day. They also have history and science daily. Students rotate between visual arts and physical education. Students also meet with advisory groups every afternoon, where they build relationships with other students and work on projects to support our school community. Robotics is an amazing part of our curriculum. Through the program, students learn STEM concepts and build robots. Families support the team, and each other, every step of the way. We offer differentiated instruction in the least restrictive environment by certified learning specialists, including ICT, SETSS, and all mandated services as indicated on a student’s IEP.

Community is one of our core values at KIPP All. We hold various family events throughout the year, including an ice cream social, a holiday potluck, and workshops to support parents. We also welcome our families to volunteer at our school.
