Priority in admissions goes to 5th graders from Girls Prep Bronx Charter Elementary, founded in 2009, but there have been some spots for newcomers in the middle school in recent years.

Girls wear uniforms and receive science instruction five days a week, according to the middle school directory. A longer school day lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a shorter day on Wednesdays. There is a free after school program that lasts until 6 p.m. and includes yoga, dance, step team, robotics, homework help, softball and more.
