Our Insights

MS 301, also known as the Paul L. Dunbar School for Historical Research & Museum Studies, is a small neighborhood middle school that is also open to children from across the Bronx. Children created their own “museum” with exhibits about Native Americans, the American Revolution, and the Industrial Revolution, according to News 12.

The school is located in the Morrisania section of the South Bronx in one of the poorest Congressional districts in the country.

It shares a building with Girls Prep Charter Middle School.
